Established in 1997, Hains Architects is based in Bethesda, Maryland with completed works around the Washington DC metropolitan region.
As full service residential practice our ambition is to provide distinct architectural design and service to our clients. We guide our clients through the planning, design & construction of their project resulting in creative & successful solutions.
Jeffrey Hains AIA, Principal of Hains Architects, completed his undergraduate and master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Maryland. Mr. Hains has served a guest critic for design reviews at the University of Maryland and Catholic University Schools of Architecture.
Active in community events, Mr. Hains has served as a committee member on the Seven Oaks-Evanswood Civic Association, Old Silver Spring House Tour, Peerless Rockville Preservation Awards program. Mr. Hains currently serves on the Montgomery County Historic Preservation Commission and is a member of the Maryland Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
